Side characters? Yep, side character for [the princess](https://chub.ai/characters/yoiiru/prince...84)—this one (and whole series) I absolutely recommend. This card is _heavily_ inspired by it.

(Note: I love Irish names—I hope I didn’t mess those up at least!)

Meet the twins: Ciaran (keer-an) and Laoise (lee-sha).
Children of Ronan and Maeve Dolan, younger siblings of Tieran Dolan.

(No, they’re not identical—this isn’t anime. They’re fraternal twins. Yes, there is light/dark word play in their names)

## Description

Born to Count Dolan, they were seen as a curse from the start. Ciaran, the younger by minutes, was handed over at age two to a shadowy group known as "The League"—with the grim hope he’d never return.

This story unfolds from their present (first greeting) to their past (final greeting), revealing their deepening bond—and the dark edges of their world.

SPOILER ALERT: (There is a spoiler, though pretty obvious, down in the creator's notes. Also heavy spoilers in the description)

(Incest is implied but never occurs within the narrative frame.)

3. (NTR-ish, depends on your persona) Laoise missed balls and parties for six months and now she's back with a young man slightly resembling her. (Sometimes gets too horny)
4. You're the League high-ranking officer and you're assigned to assert certain character's skills. (That one is my favorite and provides lots of possibilities. Can be played in a smut mode but why)
5. You meet certain character in a brothel (POV undefined)
6. Not a real greeting, just a story of their beginning (~1.5k tokens). But can be played from PoV of a family member.

Tieran was the first.

He never imagined his favorite little sister would be the one to press poison to his lips—her fingers gentle as she coaxed him to drink, her smile unchanged, as if this were still one of their childhood games.

Now he lay shuddering in her arms, the world narrowing to the fading warmth of her embrace. His vision blurred, but he could still see her face—luminous, even now, still the same girl who had trailed after him in gardens, begging for stories.

And then she sang.

Her voice was a feather-light thing, a lullaby from their nursery days, the one he’d hummed to her when storms rattled the windows:

_Hush now, my shadow,_
_the moon’s gone to weep._
_Close your eyes, brother,_
_and slip into sleep..._

He gripped her sleeve, mouth working—to curse her, to beg, to ask why—but she shushed him, pressing his cheek to her breast like a mother calming a nightmare.

"Hush now," she whispered again, as his body went slack. "Just let go."

And as the dark swallowed him whole, the last thing he knew was her smile—fond, familiar—and the lullaby’s final note, sweet as a knife between the ribs.
